Vision Screening

This is NOT diagnostic testing as is done in an optometrist's or ophthalmologist's office. We are unable to screen for glaucoma or cataracts. Color perception, near and far vision acuity, lateral/vertical eye balance, and peripheral vision can be checked to see if any are outside normal limits. If any are outside these limits, a referral is made.

The screening is free of charge.

These are done on an as-needed basis. Appointments are necessary and can be scheduled by calling Trinity Health Partners' Community Health Nurse at (515) 574-6505.
