Residents of Webster County who feel the need for assistance with home cares or personal cares could avail themselves to this service. The service is meant to assist an individual who is acutely ill and may need help for only a short period of time or an individual who has a chronic illness and may need ongoing help. The care we provide includes personal care such as bathing, range of motion exercise, food preparation, etc. and home cares such as light housekeeping, shopping for food and essentials, teaching independent living skills, family management, consumer education, money management, and providing information about other services. Family assistance may include instructing parents about child behavior management, including methods of discipline, child development, child nutrition, how to maintain a clean and safe home environment, obtaining routine medical care and emergency medical care, and about child safety and proper supervision of children.
