Program/Service Notes:
The mission of Child Health Specialty Clinics is to improve the health, development, and well being of children and youth with special health care needs in partnership with families, services providers, and communities. The Child Health Specialty Clinics provide evaluation and treatment for children/youth with known or suspected chronic health problems. It offers a screening program for at-risk infants; resource information for Ill and Handicapped Waiver; MR Waiver, Respite Care, SSI, EPSDT. The following clinics are available: Endocrine, Birth to Five screening, Integrated Evaluation & Planning Clinics (IEPC) for behavior/health concerns. Does not provide acute care or well child services. Staffed with local psychologist, social worker and nurse practitioner.
