Program/Service Notes:
Leisure companions match volunteers with participants who have a disability. Together they identify leisure interests of the participant and community recreation resources. They practice problem solving in areas of transportation, finding recreation equipment and paying the fees of the activity. The participant is encouraged to invite established friends to join the activity and/or make new friends while doing the activity.
