4-H is open to all youth 4th through 12th grades and 4-H Program is to help youth become self directing and contributing members of society. 4-H teaches life skills - developing a positive self concept, communication skills, decision making skills, learning how to learn, ability to cope with change, citizenship and leadership skills. Fifteen clubs throughout the county make 4-H available to all.
Youth may choose from more than 45 different projects which includes aerospace, pets, rabbits, child development, food and nutrition, horticulture, and livestock.
4-H is a program designed to help your child develop knowledge and skills as well as leadership and citizenship qualities. The goal of 4-H is to help each youth develop their own potential to the fullest. Contact the Webster County Extension office to find out the club nearest you. 576-2119
