The Iowa WIC Program is a supplemental food program for women, infants, and children. WIC provides nutritional education, health care, and special foods to women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or post partum, infants from birth to age 1, and children ages 1-5. Maternal Health is an enhanced version of the WIC Program for pregnant women. It provides prenatal education and counseling to families.
