Home Care encompasses a wide range of health and social services. These services are delivered at home to recovering, disabled, chronically or terminally ill persons in need of medical, nursing, social or therapeutic treatment and/or assistance with the activities of daily living. Webster County Health Department has been a certified home care provider since the 1970's. Webster County provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and home care aide service. Public Health Nurses are knowledgeable of and refer frequently to community agencies. The patient,the family and the caregiver report the value of home care services.
