The PEC has a library of books, videos and files of information on specific disabilities. The PEC can talk with families and help them understand the special ed process, and available options. The PEC can refer families to other sources of help. The PEC can help if the communication process between families and educators begins to break down and be a trusted liaison. The PEC can provide workshops, speak to classes and can provide parent and student rights information and individual assistance.
