Program/Service Notes:
Temporary care for children and adults with disabilities living at home, and their siblings. Services include predetermined weekends, camps (week-long residential camping program) and emergency respite care. Respites are hosted at Easter Seals Camp Sunnyside in Des Moines. Emergency respite based on staff availability. Request must be made during regular business hours. Maximum time: two weeks. Senior respites scheduled at various times throughout the year. Acceptance of individuals with severe emotional or behavior disorders done on an individual basis to determine level of supervision and type.
