Planned Parenthood is a non-profit health care agency. All of the services provided are on a sliding fee scale according to income. We offer free birth control for eligible women. We are committed to every reproductive health care need of women and men of all ages. We offer a wide range of services including birth control, annual exams, pap smears, breast exams, pregnancy testing and options counseling, medical and prenatal referrals, mid-life services, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections for both males and females, and Hepatitis B vaccines for 11-18 year olds and also have the HPV vaccination available. A female nurse practitioner is staffed at the Fort Dodge Center, assisted by other medical personnel. All services, including services to minors, are confidential. Educational programs and information on related topics can be provided upon request.
