Program/Service Notes:
The Red Cross provides assistance with communications between service members and their families. The levels of assistance include counseling about family problems as well as communicating emergency messages to obtain a leave of absence due to a death or medical emergency that may require the member's presence at home. All communications are on a confidential basis. Services are provided by paid staff and volunteers and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
