Mission Statement: Working together to build a healthier community. The Community Action Network is an ongoing initiative of the greater Fort Dodge community that involves cooperative planning and collaborative action to build a healthier, stronger and more vital community. With a vision of building a healthier community, the Board of Directors of Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge, took the initiative to invest in the community by providing leadership and ongoing financial support for a comprehensive community-based process to improve the health status, well-being and quality of life of the community. The Community Action Network recognizes that Fort Dodge is a good community. The objectives are to build on what is good and identify opportunites to work together to achieve our objective. Led by a Steering Committee comprised of 18 citizens from all walks of life, the Community Action Network serves as a focal point for new ideas, projects and initiatives that are focused on improving health, well-being and quality of life in the Fort Dodge community. Through visionary thinking and the promotion of new partnerships, the Community Action Network serves as a catalyst for positive community action.
