We have professional resource persons talk to the Group periodically and at other times we have studies, discussions, and videos on various aspects of the Parkinson disease and problems, help available and other information available for the Parkinsonians and caregivers. Programs at each meeting: Sharing - discussion among the members Resource people who talk to our people about subjects that concern people with Parkinson's Disease Videos concerning Parkinson's Disease One meeting a year just for friendship Two meetings a year where the caregivers meet and share things that are a part of the tings that are difficult or good in their unplanned role as a caregiver. They have a volunteer who chairs this meeting (Bob Martin). I lead the meetings. Our meetings are open to anyone who has Parkinson's Disease and their caregiver. We have no dues, only free-will offerings to meet our expenses.
