Parents are invited to sign a pledge to
support the Fort Dodge Safe Home Program

SAFE HOMES is a parent pledge program designed to
help create a safe environment for children.

Families that pledge to be a safe home will help:

• Raise awareness about alcohol and other drug and substance abuse among young people.

• Encourage other parents to join together in addressing the problem.

Safe Homes Offer Parents/Guardians:

	The peace of mind knowing that your youth and their friends can socialize in a safe environment.
	The satisfaction of doing something about adolescent drug and alcohol abuse.
	A source of parent to parent support for parents.
	An effective method of helping to prevent substance abuse before it starts.

Rather than worrying alone,
parents can unite to do something
positive and proactive
